By co-founding the repair platform ifixit, Kyle provides millions of people with repair manuals and spare parts. At the Fixfest he will talk about the current battle for a right to repair in the US and the future of the repair movement.

Melanie is Professor for Transdisciplinary Sustainability Research in Electronics at the TU Berlin and leads the project REPARA/KUL/TUR at the TU Berlin. At the Fixfest she presents her exhibition "zusammen schrauben - a culture of repair and making".

Tom is a sociologist, scientific assistant at the anstiftung and board member Round Table Repair Germany. He brings together repair initiatives and open labs and wants to "repair the world".

Ugo co-founded the Restart Project which among other things came up with the concept of Fixfest. He stands up for an openess in the repair ecosystem and fights for the Right to repair across Europe and globally.

Professor of History of Technology at  Technische Universität Berlin, Heike is researching on the "Renaissance of Repairing". She is also co-editor of the book "Kulturen des Reparierens" ("Cultures of Repairing").
